Mechanical Flow Switch
Piston flow switch is an in-line mounted mechanical flow switch, mainly used for flow control of liquid or gaseous media. Its working principle is that a piston with a built-in magnet moves inside the housing when the fluid passes through, thereby closing the reed switch in the electrical box outside the housing. Users can set the flow rate by moving the electrical box, with minimal pressure loss, good repeatability and anti-fouling ability. A mechanical flow switch is a device that detects fluid flow and outputs signals through a mechanical structure. It triggers the switch based on the movement of internal mechanical parts (such as pistons, blades or rocker rods) driven by fluid flow, and is often used in simple flow monitoring and protection applications. The mechanical design does not require complex electronic circuits, is reliable in operation, and is easy to maintain. The production process is mature and the price is more competitive than that of electronic flow switches. It works through the mechanical action of the fluid, does not require additional power support, and is suitable for specific occasions.
