Key points of electromagnetic flowmeter installation.

Select the installation location:

In order to make the electromagnetic flowmeter work stably and reliably, the following requirements should be noted when selecting the installation location:

1. Try to avoid using ferromagnetic objects and equipment with strong magnetic fields (such as large motors, large transformers, etc.) to avoid affecting the magnetic field and flow signal of the sensor.

2. It should be installed in a dry and ventilated place as much as possible, and it should not be damp or easy to accumulate water.

Installation requirements

In order to measure correctly, the following requirements should be noted when selecting the installation location on the pipeline:

1. The sensor can be installed vertically or horizontally on a horizontal or inclined pipeline, but the center connection of the two electrodes needs to be in a horizontal state.

2. The medium should flow with a full pipe at the installation location to avoid the pipe and gas adsorbed on the electrode.

3. When the medium at the installation location of the flowmeter is not satisfied with the pipeline, the method of raising the rear end pipeline of the flowmeter can be used to fill it. It is strictly forbidden to install the flowmeter at the highest point of the pipeline and outlet.

4. The length of the front and rear straight pipe sections of the flowmeter: the front end is equal to or equal to 10DN, and the rear end is equal to 5DN (DN is the pipe diameter)
