The pressure measurement core is calibrated using an absolute pressure of 1 Bar (100000 Pa). As the core uses the thermal measurement principle, the altitude/height affects the sensor output and needs to be compensated for according to the following formula:
where ∆Peff is the compensated differential pressure; ∆Psensor is the current differential pressure output from the sensor; Pabs is the absolute pressure in the area where the sensor is mounted; the unit is Pa. Pabs is the absolute pressure value of the installation area of the sensor, which is generally the local atmospheric pressure; the unit is Pa.
