Overview
elliptic gear flowmeter is a volumetric measuring instrument for continuous or intermittent measurement and control of liquid flow in pipeline. It has a large range, high accuracy, small pressure loss, viscosity adaptability, can measure high temperature and high viscosity liquids, convenient calibration, installation recommendations and many other advantages. It is suitable for flow measurement in petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fibre, traffic, trade, food, medicine and health and other departments.
SN5A series oval gear flowmeter is equipped with pointer and word wheel accumulation device, can directly display the liquid flow through the pipeline and instantaneous flow. In the counting mechanism attached to the sending device and the electric display instrument supporting can be achieved cumulative, quantitative and instantaneous flow of remote centralised control. Adding radiator or ellipsoidal gear can measure high temperature and high viscosity liquid.
Different liquids (acid, alkali, salt, organic solutions, etc.) flowmeter body can choose different materials.
Structure and working principle
Elliptic gear flowmeter consists of flow transmitter and counting mechanism. A heat sink is installed between the transmitter and the counting mechanism, which constitutes a high-temperature flowmeter. The transmitter consists of a measuring chamber with a pair of elliptical gear rotors and a sealing coupling, while the counting mechanism includes a deceleration mechanism, a regulating mechanism, a counter and a transmitter.
The metering chamber consists of a pair of elliptical gears and a cover plate forming a crescent-shaped cavity as the flow measurement unit. Elliptic gear by the flowmeter inlet and outlet pressure difference to promote and rotate, so that the liquid is constantly measured by the crescent-shaped cavity sent to the outlet, each turn of the flow of liquid is four times the crescent-shaped cavity, the total number of elliptical gears by the sealed coupling and the speed of rotation to the counting mechanism or transmitter, you can know the total amount of liquid in the pipeline through the total amount and the instantaneous flow rate.
